The following is a comprehensive list of entries at Ellis Island mentioning Zasliai (or a variation thereof) as the place of residence before emigration, and also listing the person as "Hebrew" (not all Jews were identified as Hebrew in the manifests).

Note: This is not a complete list of those who came from Zasliai through Ellis Island.
It is only a partial list because of several difficulties in identifying Zasliai immigrant:

- There are many similar-sounding town names in Russia, Austria and Germany. I did my best to eliminate hundreds of listings which did not seem to me to be from the Zasliai in Lithuania.
- Zasliai is spelled in all sorts of ways at Ellis Island.
- Many immigrants came from Zasliai but did not list a particular town as the place of residence. These can only be found by searching for a particular surname, which is beyond the scope of this web page.
- Some Zasliai residents came via other cities, whether in Lithuania itself or in other countries.
- Many listings of Jews were not identified as "Hebrew" and therefore can only be found by a general search without regard to ethnicity.
